Components that transform electrical signals into mechanical motion or the other way around; motion leading to an electric signal.

Electromechanical components combine electrical and mechanical properties. These use an electric signal or power to create physical movement, like turning a motor; they can also work in reverse by generating an electrical signal from physical movement. There are several ways to classify electromechanical components, common sub-category's include, Relays, Switches, Motors and Drivers, Fans and Blowers.
